Don,
That is funny... and I bet Peter never mis-spells it either.

Andrew,
very good...Latin...I had four years of Latin when I was in High School. Many of our words ( and many languages) have a Latin base. Very Good!

Simon, Simon, Simon...
No need to get upset...Although... "dem der words is fittin words...put up yer dukes..."

Nawwww...but you realy hurt my feelings well...not really...

Accountants aren't too bad. It's those awnery CPA's that have to nit-pick everything. But then again I do love to hear those who hate us, squeal like pigs, when they get an I.R.S. audit notice!

Actually, I didn't direct my comment at anyone. It was a seperate post. So I can't see why the personal attack against accuntants (those guys didn't do/say anything). I was thinking it was more along the lines of the "dumbing down of America". I was just wondering how so many intelligent, well schooled people, get this word wrong all the time. They spell it wrong, as well as, speak it incorrectly. I hear it on the news, talk show hosts, even my late Pastor used to pronounce it incorrectly ( it became a great, funny, running joke between us...which I will always remember and treasure)(he had a PHD!).

Please don't take it personally. I have a hard time spelling myself and our beloved website owner, Lance, is one of the "best" spellers I know. I am one, among many, who has ribbed him about it many times.

lol

Don't take anything I say seriously. You know, I am hoping one of these
days I might be able to talk with you very briefly about lutherie and taxes.
I am a young guy (26 yrs) who is not very familiar with business stuff. I
was thinking you might be able to clear up a few things for me in regards
to setting up my business - which I plan to start in an official capacity at
the end of this year. I am a pretty bright fellow and I've got just a few
very basic questions that wouldn't take up more than 5 minutes of your
time. Maybe I can give you a call sometime.

Peace Out,

Simon,
I am always happy to help. My shop Number is 941-921-6063. I am there until the begining of "tax season" which for me starts around Jan.15th. Then try me at 941-922-7771.
